  1. Lids.com has a couple that look like something you might be interested in. I have attached the links. One has a white "B" while the other had a red "B". The white "B" has all white exposed stitching, while the red "B" has red and white exposed stitching.

  2. Deep to left….Yastrzemski…won't get it. It's a home run!

  3. ok something needs to fucking kick in the red sox so they can snap their damn losing streak! NOW EVERYBODY NEEDS TO START HITTING TOO!! only people who can hit the damn ball is beltre and youkilis and a little bit of pedroia. ortiz..please just hit the damn ball

  4. @gfscarface13 really? Because the championship banners look the same to me… and before you start talking about Boston steroid users, lets take a look at the yankees. Clemens, Giambi, Sheffield, A-rod, Pettite, Mike Stanton. And those are just a few from the recent years.. If you tried to take away a championship from a team just because a few players used steroids then you might as well just whipe out mlb history from the previous 20+ years.

  5. 23.

    Ted, 14-July-1946 (first game).
    Doerr, 08-June-1950.
    Vollmer, 26-July-1951.
    Zauchin, 27-May-1955.
Ted twice more, 08-May and 13-June-1957.
    Harrelson, 14-June-1968.
    Lahoud, 11-June-1969.
    Lynn, 18-June-1975.
    Yaz, 19-May-1976.
    Rice, 29-August-1977.
    Rice again, 29-August-1983 (second game).

(Wow, August 29 is some good date for Jim Ed.)

    Brunansky, 29-Sept-1990.
    Clark, 31-July-1991.
    Valentin, 02-June-1995.

  6. Don’t understand this commercial.

  7. @gfscarface13 umm how about A- ROID last year. i guess that means the yankees title was tainted too right??

  8. Amazing!!!!

  9. actually it was his 2nd game and who knows how well he will do. He has a lot of potential, anyone can see that, but its too early to judge. I think he will have a successful career. But it all depends on his health and who knows if he will he get an injury and pitch bad like Wang this year

  10. they ankees just beat the sox. Yay :)

  11. Gagne is a type B free agent. The Sox will get a sandwich pick between the first and 2nd round as compensation. You can get some good talent this way which is why they offered him arbitration. If they hadn't offered that they would not get the pick.

If only he had the numbers to be a type A free agent, then they would have got the Brewers 1st round pick as well.

  12. The red cap was their home cap. It was red with a navy bill and a navy B. The away cap was all navy with a red B.

  13. Because he didn't and wanted to go but someone had improvements and stuff.

  14. Great comercial, almost made me cry. Hail to the Red Sox!!!

  15. SUCK+STEROIDS=THE YANKEES GO SOX!!!

  16. @Bert9ton Dude, David Ortiz failed his Steroid Test. Both Manny & David were doing Steroids together in boston. Just cause someone is big it doesn’t mean they dont use Steroids LOL. Come on, thats Stupid.
Boston world series are Tainted as much as the 1989 Oakland A’s
Red Sox last legit title is still 1918.
92 Years and counting since the red sox won a LEGIT world series.

  17. try lids.com

  18. It was John Marzano, a former back up catcher. He apparently had a heart attack, but I think the official cause of death was the fall. He died satuday. here's a link:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=mlb&id=3354653

Marzano was only 45. Apparently this runs in the family, as his father died young from heart problems.

Too bad. While he wasn't a Varitek or Fisk on the field, everyone seems to have loved this guy.
